About this Experience

The tour involves working on farm lands within the mountain villages.its an educational and fun experience where locals will provide history,customs and culture of the bakonzo.the 1 day tour involves goat milking,local farming and goat keeping activities in the rwenzori.at the end of the day you will experience farm to table food while having a stay at our eco-friendly community campsite. Karangura eco- camp is located adjuscent to two river streams of mpanga and Busonde that provide a unique sound. The eco- camp has been designed and crafted using local materials, fitted by artisians from the community. Our cultural tourism scheme involves developing the community and promoting nature preserve through tourism and enhancing intercultural exchange programs, between the host local community and visitors. We believe that tourism, conservation, and community development can be merged because the three cannot work in isolation.
