About this Experience

The Bicowa guided nature and community nature walk is a 2-3 hour experience through the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary and surrounding community, focusing on biodiversity and local culture. Our guide will lead the walk along forest paths and boardwalks to spot birds like the Great Blue Turaco, primates including colobus and red-tailed monkeys, and other mammals like the sitatunga. Visitors also gain insight into local life, including traditional practices, community customs and the day to day authentic way of life among the homesteads in this area
