About this Package
Step into the remote and beautiful world of the Mosopisiek, once forest dwellers of Mount Elgon. Over three days and two nights, you’ll hike through remote farmlands & villages, enjoy amazing valley & mountain views and engage with the authentic & healthy lifestyle of this welcoming Community. Cultural experiences, such as elder storytelling, bamboo basket & honey wine making, make this a cultural encounter you won’t forget. Our our experienced guide, storyteller and Community leader David, ensures your trekking adventure is safe and meaningful. Expect between 12 and 15 kilometers of hiking a day, on moderate to difficult trails. Your homestay is hospitable with delicious local food, but don't expect any luxury in terms of sleeping and showering. Warm blankets and warm water are provided!

8.45am: Briefing by your head guide & cultural storyteller.
